i just done a complete rebuild on my TH440T4 and after installing the transmission in the car i have no forward gears. if i rev the engine pretty high then i can get the transmission to move forward (in any forward gear) a few inches. i have a perfect reverse, nice and strong. i was super careful putting everything back together and was sure to double check all gaskets and seals.
this is a 1989 cutlass ciera 3.3L
when i went to crank the engine the radiator got hot and spewed antifreeze out the radiator cap. i believe this was due to having a bad fan/temp sensor.
any ideas to trouble shoot first would be great.
