Default ATF change

1)Probably a newb question, but I have never changed the ATF in my automobile, so I was wondering if there is a good write up anywhere?

2)How many quarts of ATF should I buy for my TC swap?

3)Which ATF do I need? Dextron 2,3,4, high temp, C+, and so on?

4)Any other additives I should buy? I want to keep my tranny happy for a long time

I had big problems using B&M Trick Shift (F based) on my
TCI. Depending on torque converter clutch material it
may or may not like Type F. Some newer clutch types
squeal like a bugger if you don't use a fluid that meets
the anti-chatter DexIII specs, check out the label. I
have been pretty happy with the Castrol ATF+ (at
least the damn thing is quiet now).
