Hello everyone,

I'm putting a 5.3 with a 4L60E into a '37 Chevrolet 4 door. I have a floor mounted shifter conversion from Lokar and there is a tab on the transmission that is interfering with the linkage rod.

What is this tab for? Can I remove it?

That's a rebuilding fixture tab. It (the fixture) holds the trans using those mounts in an upright position for rebuilding. Cut it.
