They are the same transmission the 65 just has beefed internals. The truck will not know the difference.

Default 2008 chevrolet colorado WT 4x4 4L60E interchangeable to what?

Lets confuse again... sorry my bad, but my tranny seems to be busted and trying to find a suitable candidate to replace it. So can I put any 4L60/65E tranny from which year? (96-2010?) without reprogramming the TCM? I do know that if I use a 4L65E, I need the 300mm torque converter? Am I correct?
The 2WD version cannot be used or is the tail swappable with the existing transfercase adapter?
Any help appreciated. Yes, have read the posts...
Sincerely
-Perttu-

@Perttu Fihlman start your own thread.
List your vehicle, your issue, and what you're trying to figure out.
NO you can't swap any 96-10
No you can't just directly swap a 2wd for a 4wd
If you want the best help, start your own thread...don't dredge up a thread from 2012
