i was just wondering if a bad flex plate could make a knocking sound? i am hoping it is not my new motor and it is either a lifter, the only thing i left stock when i put the new motor in, or the flexplate?

i thought i heard something in the morning, i only heard it a litle bit about every 5 seconds i drove it home real easy and when i went to start it for my buddy to hear, it was loud as hell... i couldnt really tell were it was coming from becuase i only had the car on for a sec...


any help would be great...
