I just wrote this to Tony...

Here is the latest after talking to Damien who has talked to everyone including the Street and Performance tuner.
In 2010 GM made it so the ECM the BCM and TCM all used a VIN matched in all components

The MAST ECM has a feature allowing doing away with the BCM.
If you put the VIN in the TCM it needs to also go in the MAST ECM, which I don't know is possible.

I think Keith at www.pcmforless.com can do it as he has access to VINs, but you would need a BCM which do don't have.

The best solution still seems to be a 2009 and earlier TCM.
I'm told it bolts right in making the trans pre 2010.
Buy it new from GM it is likely blank so either needs to be programed by Street & Performance or by pcmforless

I hear you on this has been taking way to long
My invoice from Mast says 2010 6l90 right in plan sight
The one thing I find really interesting is that you introduced them to this issue in July!!! and I called them at the end of August and they told me they had never had this issue come up before?????
Like I have said I'm not impressed with Mast
Daiman may be a good guy but he sure had me running in circles pulling my hair out trying to get any answers at all
I still think they should be supplying us with the proper tcm simply on the fact that my invoice says 2010 right on it
Plus he guy they sent me to to get a TCM isn't returning my calls or emails which is all to familiar with this whole project

Thumbs down

So it has almost been a year now and with no help what so ever from mast I still have a truck that is not drivable
I am in the process of pulling the 6l90 and putting in a nv4500 after thousands of wasted dollars and several wasted months
It's a total shame really as I'm deeply routed in the east coast offroad scene and have several people watching to see how the mast system works and I will say the engine does work above my exptations but due to the lack of tech support they have lost all posible sales to the Canadian east coast at least in the offroad world
Leaving me hanging in the wind with a $3000 useless system
Thanks mast motor sports your the best!!! I nor anyone I know will never be doing business with you

Has anyone ever gotten a email respose from mast? I know I haven't not even before these problems

Don't give up if you really want it.

We have no problems programming and using 2010 and newer 6L80's and 90's.

We just got our first batch of 2014's in and we certainly are planning to use them!
