I have a Derale pan. Holds 2 quarts extra. And it comes down to about the same level as the stock y-pipe...

Not sure if that helps...

There are also "reinforced" pans available that have a big steel plate on the bottom for protection.

I have a pan from a 2000 Silverado. Holds two extra quarts.I'm lowered with no issues. Here is the part #'s

24210915* - This deep transmission pan holds approximately two extra quarts of fluid and can be used on any 4L60 or 4L60E transmission.

24208576 - Oil Filter Kit (Filter, Pan Gasket, O-Ring).

I am only 1" down and had to take the TCI super-deep pan
off my SS because I kept scraping / bumping the drain plug
on speedbumps. This is the finned aluminum one that has the
"stepped" profile to the bottom of it. I bet at 2" drop you
would be busting fins or cracking the pan, not just tagging
the drain plug.

how bout the unfinned silverado one as above? is it really 2qts? Fins are cool but busted oil pans suck. Esp if you are in a rush and all.

would a stock height camaro with 70K suspension have enough clearance and not bounce back into the speed bump driving normally (ie 5mph bump)

I never had a problem until I put the Hotchkiss springs,
ran around with the deep pan for almost a year before
I did the suspension?
