Stupid 4l60e and a 2-3 flare shift, here we go again VIDEO ADDED
Ok so I have a lvl2 Performabuilt 4l60e that shifted and performed great up until my cam install and tune. I had the trans tune looked at and we had the trans shifting good again. I went to a 28 tall tire from a 26 and the 2-3 flare shift is back. I just recently had it looked at again had everything changed over for the 28s and it's a little better or not as noticeable, but it's still there. I should also mention I'm running a 4k stall and 430 gear out back. Any suggestions/ help is much appreciated. I'm at wits end with this pos 4l60e trans.

The vendor should know how they built the trans and what could be done to reduce the flare.
Personally I would drop the valve body, drill the 3rd apply hole a bit bigger in the separator plate and install the Sonnax servo release check valve. The vendor might say that due to how they built it, my advice is wrong. Of course, even if correct, this might be much more than you want to do.
I'm no expert, but that is my opinion.

Also, I assume when you said the tune made it "a little better" that the tuner maxed the pressure during the shift. You could then also try increasing your line pressure with a stiffer pressure regulator spring, assuming you already have the max-sized 0.500 boost valve. Some stiffer springs are available, or "fix your own" by taking it out and stretching to a longer static length. Putting a pressure gauge on the trans is the best way to monitor what you are doing.

Especially because I first misunderstood your Q about pressure logging - the trans has no pressure gauge and the PCM only knows by how much the pressure control solenoid (force motor) is trying to increase pressure.
The typical gauge ($45 on ebay) has a 5ft hose and I have routed it to be visible on the outside of the windshield while driving. Use zip-ties to keep the hose away from the exhaust.

First, glad that Performabuilt is giving advice too.

back when i first started modding my C5, it would flare on the 2-3 shift when cold. then i added the 3400 converter &shift kit/tuned, it helped it out a bit. I would just take it easy when the trans was cold. I dont think i ever checked the trans fluid before the converter install. So when I did the converter/shift kit and refilled the trans, thats probably what helped it lol. C5's suck in that sense bc there is no dipstick and the car had to be up in the air so i could pull the fill plug to check.

well i got the trans nice and hot (about 172 according to my aeroforce gauge) and checked the fluid lvl. The fluid level was above the cross hatch from what i could tell, i hate trying to read these trans dipsticks in these cars... The one thing i remember is i did re-mount my trans cooler and I did loose a little fruid doing that with disconnecting and re-connecting the lines. Even though the fluid level already looks a little high maybe ill try adding another half quart and see what she does. I also have a video i want to share of the flare shift at wot.

Sorry, I don't notice much flare in your video.
I assume you don't have tuning software to log that it really is there.
What is the stall speed of your converter?
