Default Testing a TCC solenoid ???

Hi guys

wondering

i got a P0740 code TCC enable solenoid circuit electral and the car didnīt lock up
i have HPT and when have ignition switch on and car not running and i manualy press the lock up solenoid shouldīnt it click or something?
it didnīt click when i did

i have another harness from other 4l60e and tooke the TCC solenoid from there (it worked well in the car before) and did a little test on the working table on that thing gave it 12V and then grounded it and it didnīt click

so i tooke the pan down from the car and tooke that TCC solenoid i was running out of the valvebody and tried the same thing on it and the same results it didnīt click.

so i did one more test and installed the one from the other tranny in the car spliced it in and tried the same method as before using the HPT to manually press it and no click

So do i have 2 bad solenoids or am i missing something here, one guy i talked to said maby i need pressure to the solenoid to have it give a click, but that doesnīt explain the p0740 and no lock up

any ideas on this

Baezi
