Default Th400 to lq4! Please help before it to late.

So long story short, I have a extended crank version lq4 with flat flex plate, th400, and circle D converter with the longer "snout" on it already and ls bolt pattern. WILL THIS WORK? Ive read so many diff things all over and my head might spin. Some people say short crank/dished flexplate and extended snout converter. Others long crank/ flat flexplate with extended snout(or pilot spacer). And even extended crank/flat flexplate and SBC converter.... Well what is it

Will my long crank, flat flexplate and ls1/th400(extended snout) converter work?

No the converter be pushed into the pump with the long crank or not eve nbolt up. You need the short stock style th400 TQ converter and a flat flex plate.

yea thats what i figured. talked to chris at circle D and he said the same thing. But it sounded like we both werent 100% sure. That is one smart man to deal with BTW! Might send it back and have the proper rear put on or sell it and buy a different one.
