how do I get rid of my old 700r4 I have a 700r4 from a 93 z28 taking up space in my garage. I know that these transmissions are pretty much worthless. I don't want to just throw it away though, what the hell do I do with this thing. I would like to get a few bucks out of it if I can.

throw it on craigslist and other local adverts... could probably get 150-200 bucks if it works. its only worthless to us people who modify ****. someone who has a bad 700r4 in a truck or something would love it.

If it's a 1993 trans then it's a 4l60, not the typical 700r4. The 3FMM code designates the 4l60 which has all the updates of the 4l60e, just not electronically controlled. Even has the Corvette servo. A gem to those who have '93's needing a trans.
