Default SS4000 with no tune okay to drive?

I just installed a brand new Yank SS4000 in my 98 Z28. I know the trans will freak out if I do a WOT run with the converter in it without doing any tuning, but I'd like to put some of the "break in miles" on this converter through out this nice weather we're having. I'd send it out for a mail order now, but there's a few more things I have planned for the car in the next month or so that would require a re tune anyways so I'd like to run on the stock tune for now if it's not going to hurt anything? No getting on it or anything, just maybe driving it to work and cruising around a bit to eat up some of these 150 break in miles?

Just 'granny' drive it,it'll be fine. Auto shift points based on the rpms you're used to seeing might/might not change. I drove mine with a TCI 2800 and now Yank SS3600 on street and strip without a tune and nothing changed with shift points compared to stock OEM convertor. I'm NOT saying to not get a tune in the future.
