Just to verify on the Transgo HD2 (P01870 Content)
It does in fact correct it right? I was suggested it on another forum.
I have the DTC, it chuggs on hills and under decent throttle (surging type feeling like the TCC is going in and out)
Also just got the harsh 1-2 upshift last night.
Trans has 124K on it, and yes 4L60-E.
Also, is the right one?
Oh and this thread is for a 2000 Camaro 3.8, not the car in my sig.

That is the correct kit.
It will replace the PWM TCC valve in the valve body with an on/off TCC valve. The on/off TCC valve will feel more like a shift than before. (Not harsh, but no longer imperceptible.)
However, unless you need the full shift kit, you can just buy a on/off TCC valve like this one:
