Check this tranny out for me!!!!! My tranny is starting to slip so I have been searching for rebuilt tranny prices. I don't know what all is good when it comes to inside tranny. So I need someone tell me if this tranny that a guy has for me is good or not. Also tell me what you think about the price

I have heads and cam on my car running 395 rwhp.
And a 3000 stall TC with 3.73 gears.
Here is the specs on the tranny:
This is an e-mail that was sent to me from the guy that owns it.
All Billet front pump with 10 vane rotor - capable of 300+ psi. sustained indefinately (HP vanes in pump)
Raysbestos Blue Racing complete clutch set
Kolene steels
HD Billet Reaction shell
HD Billet Servo
Boost valve
Slide spring kit
Pro Series HD band
Full custom design shift kit
Special machining of forward and rev input drum
There is also roughly 4 hours in machine work on all the internals to allow perfect tolerances and increased fluid flow throughout the tranny. The tranny is tested by the builder on a $70,000 tranny dyno at his shop on a 500hp engine which I paid an extra $150 for full dyno time and testing before he shipped it to me. The builder teaches hydraulics at a University in Waco. I also have a B&M deep aluminum tranny pan with filter extension found here:

He also has a bigger TC for sale, he said I might want a bigger TC with this tranny.

The materials sound nice, I'd make sure is a really good tranny builder, and by the way it sounds he is. Im not so sure about the custom **** kit and rev input drum. I rebuilt my tranny the rev input was probly the hardest part.
hey Just a couple Questions, why would you wanna go with a ten vane instead of the thriteen you now have, and what material is the billet reaction shell made of ? one other note, a 4l60e transmission pump is capable of producing over 2000, psi stock from the factory, why would you wanna run 300 case splitting psi's? Just curious. Thank for the time. Dave

This sound like a Gobel Tranny to me. He is based out of Waco and is a teacher. I just had one installed in my T/A and it is a beast!! When the convertor locks it could snap your spine. I love mine, and that sounds about right price wise too. Some of the stuff in his tranny is his design and it seems to be working great. I am running a 383 stroker with a 200 shot.

It does sound like a great trans. I just had mine done by a guy named Joel in Detroit. He did the same machining on the drums I think is done on your trans. The net result is that it provides more surface area for the clutches. The price is competitive.

You just bought one of the best 4l60e's you could possibly find. Goebel knows his **** man. It is a great tranny and I know a guy that ran close to 600RWHP for almost a year without issues on it. Running low 6's almost every weekend for 12 months

Will my TCI StreetFighter 3000 stall TC hold up to this tranny. I hear with Goebel tranny you must have a converter that will take 300psi or the tranny pressure will take the converter out.
