Default 4l80 problem

Okay going to try an explain my problem I'm having. Just got my blazer xtreme with 5.3 swap. Trans is a stock 4l80e with a vortech 3200 single disc billet converter. Car shifts fine and firm. Problem is when I punch it, it feels like it lags to get the car moving. Almost like the rpms just jump high and hesitates before actually moving. Once it gets going it feels nice. It does this on tools and from a dead stop. It doesn't seem like it has the hard hit like a converter should. The converter feels really loose. Tune looked fine and was reading a .4 sec downshift so the computer is reading the command to downshift but just seems like it takes forever to get moving.

Anyone have a suggestion as to what it might be?
