how to compensate for a small stall in a built car?!

how to compensate for a small stall in a built car?! Ok guys, i just picked up a car a few days ago that is pretty built. the only thing i see thats a draw back is it has a YANK 2200 stall converter. and its way to small (imo). is there any ways to COMPENSATE OR OFFSET the bog off the line? Gears maybe?

Ls1 bored .010 over (scat rods, manley pistons, for nitrous)
prc 2.5 5.3 heads
tsp MS3 cam
bbk intake
Kooks 1 7/8 headers, exhuast
nitro daves plate kit (150shot)
YANK 2200 stall
stock 10 bolt (3.23 gears)
any suggestions are appreciated..... I plan on swapping to a 4l80e in the summer. thats why i dont wanna REBUY a 4l60e converter, now and have to buy a 4l80e converter again later.

Even with a 3200 I think your understalled you need a 3600-4000 with that cam. The good thing about converters is you can usually get most of your money back when you sell it used.
If you are 100% doing a 4l80 you might be able to limp it through till then.
