4l80e slugish take off and hard shifting Need help I have a 2000 4l80e in a 2500 hd truck. I posted in performance trucks but no one replied to my post. The problem is that the truck sounds like I am holding the brake when I start out and after the transmission gets hot it shifts hard in every gear. There is no engine check engine light.
The big problem now is I have the transmission and engine out of the truck.Is there any things I can do to check the transmission while its out? Im hoping it is something external but probably not.
