Default converter retune

what is done when they retune for a converter is it just shift points or alot more is it something that can be done with a hand held or not any info would be appreciated

Shift points and lockup is what you tune, and no you can't do it with a handheld.

I did it with a handheld. Put in the gear and tire height and messed with line pressure, shift rpm, and shift mph.

I used a diablo. To many mis-shifts trying to figure it out could hurt it.
