prndl/neutral safety switch
so, i'm installing my bastard setup, and long story short, my harness is from an '05 Trailblazer, and my transmission is from an 02 Camaro.
Speartech left the pigtail for the transmission mounted PRNDL switch on the harness, leading me to believe that i need to use one.
Has anyone mounted a PRNDL switch to their older transmission, or am i going to need to source a shift selector for a newer transmission?
TIA.

We leave it on for convenience. You can usually get a backup light signal and neutral safety wire out of it.
In your case I'd probably just cut it off or tuck it away and get those signals from your shifter or aftermarket add-on.
