Trans mount?
I have a 1999 camaro z28 with 5.7 an auto trans.
My ? is that I want to replace my trans mount bushing but not sure on which one to go with so I was wondering if some one point me in the right direction.
The one's I want are from Energy Suspension they make two so I'm not sure which to go with....is there any difference between the two?
Here's the first one.
It's a Softer Polyurethane.

Here's the second one.
It's a Short Design.

Both are Polyurethane it's just the Short design lowers the transmission farther than the Softer one.
The reason for me wanting to change this out is that I pretty sure I hear/feel it hitting the trans tunnel so since it's cheap I'll just replace it lol.

i bought the prothane tranny mount. but i hear poly's can be noisy for some people and quiet for others... but a guranteed good mount, a stock GM bushing will work perfect..
If its hitting the trans tunnel it probably your torque arm bushing thats trashed and under accelleration the torque arm can move up and down in the mount and that might be what your feeling..
but both are cheap to replace...

Cool thanks for the heads up.....I been told that if I go with urethane that I would need to change my motor mounts to urethane also if not then it would just be a matter of time before they would be trashed any thoughts on this?
