Stupid dyno/converter question...
Other than rear ratio and maybe transmission gear, what all is factored into a dyno tune regarding the transmission? I ask because I'm in the middle of a Fox swap and have a complete, stock donor but have some hand-ported 243s and a cam I'll be throwing in at a later date. I'm working on finding a local shop to flow the heads. No converter as of yet, but most companies want to know the operating range and (no reason not to ask) projected numbers. I'll need a tune for the heads and cam, and with that I can source the proper converter, right?
