Vibrations in transmission while in park?

Vibrations in transmission while in park? Ok. so I recently picked up a 1999 camaro z28 auto trans. I'm trying to work some kinks out of the transmission.
1st. I have this vibration in the car the higher the RPM's the worse it gets I was thinking u-joints but not so sure because if I leave the car in park an rev it I get the same vibrations as if I'm driving it any ideas on what this could be?
I just wanna figure it out because it's annoying an well I'm sure it's not good for the transmission, also I plan on changing out the torque arm/trans. mount because I get this thud sound from under the center console an been told that it's more than likely that so I just wanna do all this at the same time.
