hey guys i am goin to install a 4l60e in my 3rd gen iroc it is an 5.7l with a cable driven speedo. i am goin to use a ez-tcu. just wondering if anyone has done this or has any input on how i might get the speedo to work?
i know i have to run the electric vss in the trans so i wont be able to hook up the speedo to it. simply because the tcu needs that input i also know that the tcu has a speedo read out in it. but the 3rd gen ecu need the input from the speedo which is run thru a buffer box of some type. ive been researching this and i know tci has a scu from the speedo that hooks up with this but i am trying to go a cheaper route. anybody have any ideas?
