Default Can't install my billet servo...

So I am trying to install the sonnax 1-2 and 4 billet servos. every time I go to install the snap ring, it won't go in. It seems like the the retaining clip that the 4th servo sits on is preventing the whole servo from going down to install the snap ring. Does the pin length affect this? If so how would I go about fixing this issue?

Looking at my Sonnax 77911-03K 2nd Gear servo kit, it includes a pin. Why would you not use the Sonnax pin? Sorry, I don't have a spare ACDelco pin to compare it to.

The stuff I bought didn't include the pin. Just the pistons. Is it alright if I grind the pin down a bit?

Re-reading your first post this morning, I now assume you are referring to the big servo cover snap ring? (Yesterday I thought you were referring to a snap ring on the pin.)
Have you compared the new pin length to the old?
Some replacement pins do need to be ground down.
You know it takes about 50 lbs of pressure on the servo cover to fully push it in?
Testing the pin length should be done without the o-ring on the servo cover.

However, I don't know exactly what you have. The Sonnax 2nd Gear servo kit includes a pin and the directions say to discard the OEM pin:

If this is not your part, tell me your part number, answer my Qs above and I will contact a Sonnax expert.
