Default 2 steps & transbrakes

Who's running them on there 4l60e and how big of a job is it to install?

2 steps arent hard to install. For some reason I have never trusted 4l60e's on a transbrake, but there is people that push those transmissions through hell!

Jaime- The 2 step is a plug and play device on our cars. Lingenfelter makes a nice one.

Circle D Transmissions built us a HD 4L60E with a T-brake and it held up great. We used it for 2 seasons running the index classes. It is a sportsman brake also. There's only a hand full of transmission shops that can install a TB in the 4L60E.

With that being said, the biggest problem you will run into is going to be traction. The low 1st gear of the 4L60E will had you blowing the tires off or putting the car on the bumper. The 10 bolt won't last a day using the TB.lol.

Hey James thanks! I haven't heard too many people running them and we were discussing them at work the other day. Curious how that worked, I don't plan on changing trannys or rearends anytime soon! I just put in a new torsen unit last week after breaking a spider gear.
