OK I have been searching all over, but have had no luck.
Does anyone know what years and models had slip yoke 4l80e's?
You can find fixed yokes all over but can not find slip yoke versions. I know about switching the tailshafts so I do not need to hear about that, I just want to know if anyone knows what models and years had which.

If I had to guess, most all of the fixed yoke ones I've seen are in long wheel base trucks prob the 454ss as said above would be the only truck I would think came slip yoke style, (no room for 2piece driveshaft)

I remember the core supplier in my area said to me when I got a 4l80 core to build I asked that I wanted the slip yoke style he said they are impossible to find, from his mouth "I've been in the core business for 30 years an have prob had a hand full with a non fixed yoke

This is the only source I have heard of. I have one in my crawler. The earliest models had TH400's. You can probably find more info at http://www.454ss.com
