Default Help what is it
I just bought a engine and trans setup out of a 2011 gmc with a 5.3 and a trans looks like a 4l80e but some people told me it might be a 6l80e?how can I tell the cooling lines are on the left side of trans and the thing weights a ton one piece bell housing that bolts to main body ,any numbers someplace on it ? oh yeah its for sale tooif I can figure out what it is thanks

The trans is a 6L80. The cooler fittings for the 4L80 would be on the passenger side and they wouldn't be together as they are on the 6L80. Also, the 4L80 bell housing does not detach.

Duh, I'm not good with "right and left" and not everyone references from the back of the car. "Passenger side" removes any ambiguity. Thanks.

yup there on driverside cooling lines thing is huge that I take is 6 speed not a so called 4l85e?
