Tranny Slipping???
While installing the Holley setup there is a lockup wire for the tranny. It says to hook to a brake light source. This has not been hooked up since we were not sure of the correct wire.
Is the tranny slipping? Is this normal with an aftermarket converter? Does the lockup wire need hooked up? If so where to?

And can you log input & output shaft speeds to
say whether the slip is the TCC or the internal
frictions?
I would suggest you put a pressure gauge on the trans to verify the Holley ECU is commanding some pressure.
We have had 2 customers have pressure issues when using that ECU. One customer decided to ditch the Holley controlling the trans altogether due to the issues and went with a standalone controller.
