700r4 tranny I just got a 700r4 tranny, numbers on it are 9ypm336h just above the pan on the passenger side...drivers side above pan...8642717-2....can anyone help me with figuring out what year and model this tranny came from...tks

The above quote, numbers on it are 9ypm336h just above the pan on the passenger side... This is the where you determine the year of the transmission. It is a 1989. The first digit determines the year. 9 = 1989, 1 = 1991, 7 = 1987, etc.
