I have been searching for a bolt on SFI bellhousing for a 4L80e. I am nearly certain I seen the guys on Powerblock TV do one but I can't find the episode. All they did was use a cut off wheel to remove the housing and bolted the new SFI housing on. I know Hughes and a couple other companies offer it but you need to send the tranny in our have them build one for you. Neither of those options do not really work for me. If any one could help me track down the episode or knows a company that sells them I would greatly appreciate the help.

No such thing. Pretty serious machining required. Not as simple as a 400 or PG.

I had seen your post about the conversion and for some reason thought I seen on horsepower or one of those shows it could be done without having to send it in. I may end up waiting because my trans is already built. On the downside I may end up having it rebuilt sooner than I had expected since after I bought it I have heard bad things about the 4L80's this company builds.

JW makes one but it is not listed.

Part of the purchase of the SFI Bell Housing you have to send your pump to them for machining.

Give them a call or email them.
