Can I use B&M trick shift in this?
Chris
that trip, so maybe a hundred miles plus Florida to North
Carolina - call it 500 tops.
It's all about the TCC lining material I believe; the TCI said
it's got some kind of carbon clutch. B&M Trick Shift is old
stuff and probably only checked out against old-school
organic clutch materials and anything newer is just "take
your chances".
My problems were slip/squeal under apply and part throttle
loads where the TCC pressure I believe is being softened
up and the clutch isn't seated hard. So it chatters /
squeals. The DexIII still has it slipping but it slips quiet
and less, less early. Later DexIII formulations are set to
meet new TCC chatter specifications according to one
bottle I read (Castrol).
