2006 5,3 4l60e fit ls1?
Will a 4l60e trans from 2006 5.3 litter vortec ls moter out of Chevy express conversion van bolt up to a 02 ls1 fbody? Or what changes would need to be made?

Do you think it'd bolt up? I was trying to find the specs for the tranny online didn't come up with anything. I'm just seeing what I would need for this to fit. My local autozone has a vette servo. Thank you.

Yes. Since it came off an 5.3 LS1 engine, the bell housing should have a bolt hole in the 12 O'Clock position indicating it has a 300mm input shaft and is therefore compatible with all LS engines.
I said "I think" because somewhere around 2007-2008 GM made a PCM incompatible change to the valve body by deleting the 3-2 downshift solenoid and the pressure manifold switch. I don't think any '06 trans have this incompatible change, but I am not 100% sure. If you drop the pan and take a picture I could tell you for sure.

well i did a little more investigating and apparently if a 5.3 came with the 4l80E there would be a flywheel spacer installed between the block and the flywheel from the factory. So if this is correct, after looking at my engine it came with a 4l60e. no crank spacer on my 5.3. which brings up a totally diff question, since my motor came with a 4l60e, i have 2 4l60e's from mid 90's trucks, will they work with this newer engine? Thanks OP for letting me hijack!

Sorry for the delay - I was gone for a few days of road course racing.
Any pre '98 4L60E will be have a 298mm input shaft and bell housing designed for LT1 engines. It will not DIRECTLY hook up to any LS engine. You can "hack" it by using an LT1 converter and spacer; the flexplate holes also need to be elongated. Unless this pre-98 trans has a performance build, I would not recommend this "hack". You can probably sell what you have on CL and buy a later model for almost the same money.
