Default Mounting a Hurst Ratchet Shifter to Trans Tunnel

I have a hurst pistol grip style ratchet shifter for my th400. Car is a 2000 Pontiac Trans Am. I am looking for ideas and pictures on how to mount the shifter. Most threads seem to show the finished product. I am more interested on whats under the console and what people have come up with as i know this shifter has been installed in lots of cars.

Thanks,

Andrew

A friend of mine used 4 pieces of threaded rod. Worked out well as you could make the shiftier sit exactly how you wanted with the turn of a nut.
