Default transmission cooler - what do you use?

Which ones are you guys using? How big, how many? What transmission. I have a 4l60e that'll go behind a turbo lm7 in a 2500# bmw. Just trying to see whats good and bad. I won't be running the lines through a radiator as its a dual pass Griffin.

Good to know no one uses a transmission cooler hahaha! No one? I'm just wondering if I should run two since I won't pass through a radiator.

run one and get the biggest one you have room for, and if it's feasible a truck transmission pan is deeper and will hold more fluid which also helps keep it cool

for sure shoot for a 20,000 lb or higher Gross Vehicle Weight rated unit

I'll have to see what I can fit. I'm running a fuel cell in the trunk now so I was going to see if I could mount the cooler(s) where the stock tank used to be located (under the back seat).

I run a good sized tube and fin style cooler in front of the radiator. Keeps coolant temps around 160-170 driving around town. It has a 20k gvw and was like $45.
