4L60 in Swap Blowing Fuse in Reverse

I have a 2007 4.8L/4L60 that was swapped and wired into an 89 Jeep by someone other than myself, and I'm having an issue with the trans wiring.
As soon as you put the trans in reverse it pops the fuse for the trans power circuit. Start in neutral and go into drive is no problem, but as soon as it goes through reverse the fuse blows.
I did some searching and found others with similar issue, but couldnt find any fixes.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Might look into whether the reverse-gear current is
really going to the trans, or if maybe there's too much
load or some wiring fault on (say) the backup lights
harness on the new vehicle or wherever the reverse
indicator power is going.

What Jimmy said because the trans does not draw any current in Reverse other than the shift solenoids which are also active in Park and Neutral.
There might be a short in the Neutral/Reverse wiring going to the PCM.
