Default 4L60e problem?? 1st to 2nd and WOT?

Ok guys here's the problem when I take off ( no matter hot or cold) I have to let off the gas in order for it to shift into 2nd after that trans shifts fine unless you floor it then it hits the rev limiter like its in neutral. Ok I changed the filter and fluid ( fluid was a coffee color), also replaced the 1 to 2 solenoid still didn't help. Ok also my speed is way off going 65 the speedo shows 110!!!! Could the speed sensor cause all this?? Or anything else

If the speed sensor (VSS) is that far off the trans will act in very erratic ways. Fix that first.

Thats what I was thinking and it's worth a shot just don't know why the speedo would be off other then the sensor being bad

Not uncommon for the VSS or the wiring to it to go bad.

That's probably a bad sign.

I'd say fix the VSS and hope for the best, but you may be on borrowed time if it's been like this for any amount of time.
