Default Triple Disk 3400 6l80

Hello,
I have a Coan Racing triple disk converter in my G8 with a stall speed of 3400. I can only foot brake it until 1900-2100 rpm before the wheels break traction.

Can someone explain this? I was hoping to get better launches...

The stall speed is rated for the flash, not foot break. Average foot break is about 1K tighter than flash, so it sounds a little tight but in the ballpark. You can stick it in Manual 3rd and you should get closer to 3400, but the full flash can be tested at the track with data logging.

Engine RPM vs Transmission input RPM?

Engine RPM will show you what it will flash to, and should be close to 3400 by 5 MPH. And you can log TCC slip and watch the converter couple as you go down the track.
