Default High-Flow 160F Transmission Thermostat

Improved Racing has released a low-temperature version of its high-flow oil thermostat for use with transmission and differential coolers.

The thermostat helps improve efficiency and prolong transmission life by minimizing warm up times and helping to maintain a minimum fluid temperature of 150-160°F.

The unit is made from anodized billet aluminum and is available with -6AN through -12AN fittings, with hose barb fittings coming soon. Prices start at just $159.

Our thermostats use a unique design that locates the valve assembly out of the primary fluid flow, which minimizes the pressure drop across the unit and improves flow.

P.S. By popular request from several race teams (including Corvette Racing - our thermostat is in the C7 Le Mans car), a high-temp (212F) oil thermostat for racing applications will be available in January 2014.
