I have a Yank SS 3200 in my car now and was thinking about moving up to the 3600 maybe even a 4000 stall. Do you guys know what kind of difference it would have on my car? It is a 2012 Corvette GS, A6, cam, Kooks headers and X-pipe.
I know I love the way my car gets now, but I always seem to want more.

^With traction, your ET should drop several tenths and your mph MAY go up if you stick with a Yank (larger stall will keep the rpms in its powerband). I know mine did with the SS4000.

^Yes, I have BMR adj lcas due to the 28" tires on my Z. They will definitely help with traction and wheel hop. Non adj will be fine for you unless you go with a taller tire.

Per Yank's website (summary):

LS power adder series- for cars with a small shot of nitrous or small turbo/ supercharger
Pro Yank series- for cars with large shots of nitrous or boost. This series and SC series are good for 1200 RWHP
PT series- for serious N/A only cars (big cams and high RPM, not recommended for use with a power adder) This series and SS series are good for 650 RWHP
SS series- good nitrous/ N/A converter, sort of a best of both worlds, hence SS (Street/Strip)
SC series- for positive displacement superchargers.

So basically if you're using nitrous, the LS power adder series or SS series is for you (unless its a big shot, then use the Pro Yank series). If strictly N/A, go PT series.

The PT likes more RPMs. There was a thread about a week ago where someone said they talked to Yank and were told it works well high in the rpm band. Ive also read that the PT is a more track converter that works well on the street whereas the SS is just the opposite. I have an SS3600 and its a great converter.

I had a PT4000 and it would knock the S**T out of the tires, very fun N/A converter and drove pretty good. I sold it to get a SS3600 for some spray. The SS drives almost like stock vs the PT. You are gonna need some tires with that converter
