Default Stall for a 4l60e ?

I just done a cam swap on my 00" 5.3 silverado with a stock 4l60e. Cam is 222/224 not a real big crazy cam. I was wondering if Someone could chime in and give me some advice on the right stall or what not. I've heard people say that the 4l60e trans is junk for performace, and that they don't hold up well with a bigger stall. But I don't have the funds to buy a new tranny, any suggestions?

Everyone has different luck with their transmissions. No one can tell you how long it will last. As far as a stall goes, it's all in personal choice. A 3200 will help you a lot if your not wanting to go big but once you get one, I promise you'll wish you went bigger..

Would a lock up- or none lock up be better?

What's a good tranny cooler, I looked at a few from b&m but look the same size of what I already have

If you have one already you should be fine. I got the b&m 70264. Should have got the one with npt fittings instead od barbed.

You definitely want a lockup. It reduces heat during highway driving and improves your gas mileage. It has no effect on performance.
