I have installed TransGo Shifts kits (many hundreds of them) in my transmissions for over 35 years now, and have sold thousands over the years with very little complaints. If they are installed as per instructions, (like any other product) and you have given them or me the correct information when buying their product, you should get the results you wanted or needed from them.

Yeah, this is a bit of a surprising statement. I have tried the Sonnax Performance Pack (shift kit); it includes a lot of nice parts including the Pinless pistons, torlons ***** and their servo release check valve.
I personally found the Sonnax 1-2 shift too soft with a 3600 stall and prefer the TD HD2 setup which lets you control the 1-2 shift firmness with 0,1,2 or 3 washers. I like 1 washer with a 2400 stall and 2 washers with a 3600 stall. (PBA was warned that adding any washers will affect the life of the trans and not to use more than 1.)

It seems that many builders use the TG HD2 kit with a variety of Sonnax parts.
