Default where would you put your trans cooler?

some back story the tci converter in my car decided to show its true colors... it came apart and sent aluminum all through my trans/cooler/etc. now everything is going back together and i've ran into a hurdle, before i didnt have the a/c condenser in the car so i had plenty of room for an external cooler. well ive put the a/c back in and with my cold air intake plenum i dont have any room for the new cooler to go in front of the condenser (its a pretty big hayden). the only place i can think is between the radiator and condenser but i've never done it this way and im not sure if its gonna keep cool enough. im also deleting the stock in radiator transmission cooler because im sure it has some aluminum in it.... i was gonna put it in between the 2 toward the bottom of the passenger side, from the bottom that looks like it gets the most airflow (the CAI sits against the top middle of the condenser then kinda pitches out toward the bottom). thoughts? alternative locations?

Mine is mounted to the front of the radiator, does fine. My temp gauge never rides higher than 180 unless I'm just absolutely flogging on it..

i have a 160 degree t-stat too so might not be so bad in between... if i put it more towards the middle on the passenger side it would be right behind the fan on that side.

Mine is tied to the condenser. Haven't noticed any problems. Highest temp I saw was sitting still in 95-100* weather in Summer temp got to like 186

well this is how its goin in... half of it or more is in the direct air path from underneath, the rest is in the bumper and the passenger vent in the front of the bumper blows on one side of it. heres some pics i used a piece of this tray table to make the bracket.

so from the looks of it, looks like it is blocking the air to your air lid now. Is that correct? or is it just the way you took the picture?

actually i wouldnt say blocking it, i have it slightly slid up under the cai so i could get as much of the fins exposed as i could. it'll prolly just draw a little hot air off it on the one side.
