clutch material on dipstick
I have a fairly fresh 4l60e and when I check the dipstick I have a lot of black residue on the rag. It is a lot when I wipe it off the first time and a little less after I check the fluid.
Is this really bad?
I have noticed that the overrun clutches never apply, and when I am in 4th with lockup enabled it never really feels like it's truly locked up. I feel it shift into 4th, then I feel lockup engage, but it isn't like it's really solidly locked.
Hope I don't start losing gears, or possibly lockup.
