Check your converter bolts Found the knock coming from the rear of the engine before I put the car away for the year.
Turns out some of the bolts backed out from the engine to tranny and then broke one and backed out the other two. Caught it early enough that I only have the replace the flywheel and buy new bolts.
I just pickup the car 2 weeks for it all happened.

You know, I have been racking up an odd sound to exhaust hitting the crossmember but I started the car yesterday and heard a "tinging" which sounded like a bolt falling into a metallic hole...now I'm thinking I might need to check the bellhousing and see if one of mine has backed out.
