4l60e no 3rd gear in drive How's it going guys..I'm having a issue after I've had my transgo shift kit installed..the trans won't shift into 3rd in D (drive) but it will shift to 3rd and 4th in OD..any clues on what's going on? What could cause this in the valve body..thanks in advance
That is pretty weird, one of my 700r-4's did that. Actually it did that in 2, it wouldn't shift to 2nd when I put it in 2, but would in 3 or D. Never figured out the problem as the tranny was replaced.

I would start by making sure the shift linkage is in proper alignment.
EDIT: I have a better 2nd thing to check; see below.
Unless someone has the answer, I would next remove the servo and check it for miss-assembly or a bad seal.
Next, I would remove the HD2 "Gear command" feature and restore the original 1-2 shift valve. Yes, I know it is the "1-2 shift" valve, but installing the HD2 kit does not involve removing/changing any of the 3rd of 4th gear shift valves. I admit this is grasping for straws so hopefully it is something simpler.

Thinking about it more, I now suspect that your Pressure Switch Manifold is either loose or bad. This part tells the PCM which position your shifter is in. It was likely removed when installing the shift kit.
