Default Using AN line for trans cooler

I'm installing a 6L80e and LS3 into my 72 C10 truck. Anyone see any issues with using flexible braided -6AN line all the way from the tranny up to the radiator and back? (Secured to the frame rail with Adel clamps, of course). I know in stock configuration, these are always hard line. Anyone see an issue in doing so? Cost is not an issue....I just want it to function properly. Thanks.

Lots of people here use AN-6 lines for their trans cooler.
I would recommend the teflon lines primarily because they are thinner and easier to route.
Since my '81 has lots of space in front of the huge radiator, I mounted the cooler there and used a relatively inexpensive cooler that has threaded couplings and not the more common "barb" couplings for rubber hoses.

Where is the best place to find a threaded cooler like yours?

It is a Hayden #514 bought for $60 from O'Reilly:

You need AN adapters too (blue in my pic); sorry I don't remember the exact thread on the cooler, probably a common pipe size.

B+M 70274 is a nice threaded plate style cooler.

Thanks guys. I was most likely looking to use something along the lines of Aeroquip's Startlite hose which is very flexible and black in color, which I like. I was planning on just running line from the tranny to a Griffin aluminum LS radiator with the built in cooler. The LS3 will be a stock 430hp Chevrolet Performance crate. Maybe I need to consider another cooler to run in series with the radiator one?

My frame-mount Derale has 6 AN Male fittings welded on it from the factory. Worked out great for me.
