I have a PI multi disk behind my 408 with ls3 heads.....it ballooned and took out the thrust.

Wish I would have went with Circle D myself but I had the PI laying around from a GN build. I sent the Convertor back 4-5 times as they couldn't get the bolt pattern right with my CSR flexplate....finally just sent them the flexplate too and they machined a front cover for it. And I told them I wanted a 7 disk becuase it was the same price as a 3 disk and they sent me a 3 disk saying I didn't need a 7.....really?? Well I wanted a 7 disk and that's what we agreed upon before I paid $750 plus my billet front multi disk PI.

Vicki(PI owner) has been ok to deal with but she's gonna eat the cost of a brand new Convertor when I do a 4l80 swap after me eating a $3k engine rebuild on a LME built/dyno'd 408.

FWIW,Precision sells everyone the billet front cover EXCEPT Circle D. FTI,Yank,,and any other billet front Convertor is built with a PI front.Circle D makes there own and after seeing pics,it's an impressive piece.

When have u been sorry when you bought the best?
