4L80e pan gasket?

I just dropped the pan on my 4L80 that has almost no miles so I can have it powder coated. It has a metal reinforced gasket very nice looking compared to the cheap cork ones the question is are they reusable?

if its the fact. style GM one, I have reused one several times w/o leakage
trick is to torq it to the proper range

Definitely re-usable and in fact if yours is in good condition I would recommend using it over a cork or even a fiber pan gasket.

Hey brother, that part # shows a 4L60E gasket on your website. Is that the wrong picture or the wrong number lol? However, if you do by chance have access to new OEM gaskets for the 80E then we'll need to be in touch here in the very near future

Yes reuseable I had to buy a used one because the new one with my trans kit was too thin and allowed the pan to hit the filter so the pan wouldn't seal correctly.

The brown ones? The ones on eBay for $14 are fiber gaskets, not GM. The ones he is selling are black, thicker and reinforce a touch better.

Fiber is preferable over cork, which is the most commonly found, but the black ones are about the only gasket I will re-use if the core comes with it and it cleans up well enough, which unfortunately has been less and less frequently
