Looking for a shifter for my 4L80E that allows you to go 1st to 3rd, without having to ratchet past 2nd gear. Any suggestions?

With the pro stick, if you hit it just right, you can pull the lever and hold it in allowing it to slip past second and hit third. I don't know that the Trans will allow it to do that though.

Because I have a Jake's Performance 4L80e, I launch off the transbrake in 1st, move the shifter to 3rd and the transmission shifts auto. I modified the detents on the stock shifter and It works but would like to go to a aftermarket shifter.

Since the transmission isn't a MVB, why couldn't you just leave the shifter in D and csome off th brake like that instead of having to shift? If that's what your wanting to do though, look into a pro stick.

It has to be in 1st for the brake to work, Jake did develop a brake that works in drive but I have a earlier version that requires the car to be put in 1st manually for it to work.

Got ya. That shifter will do what you looking for though. The quarter stick will as well but they no longer offer it in a 4 speed.

Whats wrong with just shifting to 2nd after launch then immediately to 3rd? I'm using a Winters Sidewinder and it works fine that way.
