Default 4l60e swap question

I swaping a 1997 4l60e out of 1997 4.3 s10 it has 2 pc bellhousing with p letters on inside of housing.It is going with a 2005 6.0 out of a escalade with a dished fly wheel part number 12580707 my questions are do I need crank adapter? will bell housing bolt up ok even though it is missing upper center bolt hole?Trans will be rebuilt with better inside parts.What other problems do you think Iwill have? thanks walt

Yes, with the GM spacer (and the longer flexplate-to-crank bolts) you should be good to go. With the stock dished flexplate the spacer will go on after the flexplate - i.e you will have crank-flexplate-spacer. Just be sure the spacer still centers on the crank flange, you don't want it floating and only pseudo-centered by the bolts. (The crank has a .300 flange, the stock flexplate is about .160, leaving .140 to center the spacer.)
Yes, the bell housing will bolt up fine.
